Relational psychotherapy

I offer psychotherapy for adults, adolescents and children. I also receive couples.

Why follow a relational psychotherapy?

Relational psychotherapy is particularly suitable for people who no longer feel in tune with what they are experiencing, who suffer from psychological and/or relational problems and who want to better understand and adjust their behaviour, to find a balance and a better well-being.

It can be effective for:

  • personal growth in feeling safe and protected.
  • to connect with others, to meet the need of a sense of belonging.
  • to build self-esteem.
  • to connect with one’s deepest longings.

The need for support can be motivated by a wide variety of reasons. Difficult life experiences, suffering relationships, persistent symptoms, stress, depression, relationship problems, emotional, relational or family problems, difficulties in social integration, anxieties and inhibitions, repeated failures, inability to fulfil one’s desires, loss, bereavement…

Children, thanks to play psychotherapy, can benefit from this approach. Children with special needs are welcome (autistic spectrum, giftedness…)! A corner is reserved just for them in the consultation room.

« The being who descends into himself accepts to meet his own shadows and to dialogue with them, that is to say with what he ignores, refuses or despises about himself, will come out enriched and consolidated by these experiences. »

Modalities of therapeutic work

The rhythm of the sessions is determined together during the first meetings and can be modified, generally one session per week or one session every fortnight. It is also possible not to set up psychotherapy but to “take stock” at regular intervals.

The length of a psychotherapy varies according to the situation. You may come for a specific symptom, a specific disorder, or specific circumstances. However, it is important to enter therapy without wanting to solve all the problems immediately. Our symptoms have a meaning, we come to the psychotherapy practice with a sometimes complex history. Let’s take care of ourselves, of our rhythms. Going from a little better to a full and free life sometimes takes time.

The session can be face-to-face, by video (Skype, Jitsi, Zoom) or by telephone. I have been working for years by videoconference, it is a tool that allows authentic communication. However, we are embodied beings, the Covid pandemic has made us even more aware of the value of presence…

As a fluent English speaker, I offer coaching for English speakers. Having lived abroad for many years, I am particularly aware of the linguistic and cultural frame of reference.

Duration of the session and fee

  • Individual therapy session: 60€.
  • 40€ for students and RSA beneficiaries.
  • Couple therapy session: 70€.
  • Duration of the session: 50 min

The services provided by psychopractors are not covered by a convention. Consequently, it is not covered by social security.

Arriving on time, giving 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend is essential as it allows you to avoid being in debt to your therapist (and therefore to keep your complete inner freedom )

Pneumatherapy

Pneumatherapy is an integral part of my training. .
According to its origin in Greek, Pneuma is the force of the Living in oneself, the force of the breath, which opens in us questions about the meaning of our life, our existence on this earth, of what animates us deeply. It allows us to draw on our resources, our potential, our talents.

Sometimes, when the body collapses, when the psyche goes wrong, it is the Pneuma that keeps us going! It is then fundamental to support this living force, the time to consolidate.

The Pneuma helps to maintain a connection even when the situation seems hopeless, for example in the face of existential problems, melancholic or narcissistic pathologies, desires for death or destruction, serious illnesses, or end-of-life support.

The Pneuma is also a way to gain freedom from experiences of physical, psychological and/or spiritual abuse.

It animates us at all ages and directs us towards our life drive.
